The Gardens

Our story began 8 years ago while visiting the area we came across this beautiful place known as Mondrook. It used to be the old pottery gallery and was all overgrown as it had not been run for years.

As garden lovers we are always up to a good challenge. We wanted to create something beautiful for the people of the Manning to come and enjoy and have a great family day out. Something different where you could even take your dog out on a leash.

We are set on 2 acres of park like gardens with lots of birds and wild life. With paved areas that meander around gardens and a very large lake like dam. My husband Dennis and I worked for 6 years bringing it back to life. Even having a life time love for gardening it was a lot of hard work. It has been open to the public for 2 years now.

We have a play area for kids to enjoy themselves. There is also bird feeding at 3pm daily.

Mondrook Gardens is a very relaxing and tranquil setting where you can stay as little or as long as your like. Nobody is rushed so come and stay a while.
